Princess in Lavender

Tonight, after finishing my reports, I decided to do a princess look with a touch of lavender. I am not fond of this color but I saw a look in the internet and she added some glitters on her lids to make it look shimmering.

So here it is, my look for tonight.

violet eye makeup

Here’s the details of my eyes πŸ™‚ I love how that cute falsies are dangling at the end of my outer lids.

violet eye makeup

I also make faces. Here’s the puppy eyes with lips pouted.

Duck up your face. (quack quack)

My reaction when my dog poops and pees on my bed. What the heck did you do to my bed???

and lastly

someone farted!

Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that the headband is crafted by me πŸ˜€ I used a matted gold lace and braided it. I glued some blue gems into it to make it look like a royal thingy πŸ˜€ I hope you like it.
If you have suggestions or if you want me to blog on something, I am just a comment away πŸ˜‰

The Princess Meets the Diva

Hi there senyoritas! Today’s post will be about shoes. I must admit that shoes are my guilty pleasures. I don’t know but I just find shoes as the center piece of every outfit that I will wear. I maybe wearing a 10 peso dress or a thirty pesos thrifted shorts but I know that my gorgeous pair of shoes will make my outfit stand out.

I can remember my Tita Elaine saying that women who wear high heels look smarty. Never mind if everyone is staring at you! As long as you feel confident about yourself. It’s your feet anyway. As I always say, do what you want to do. Dress as you want to dress but never step on another woman’s heels.

I know, I haven’t posted my collection here but will surely do in the future πŸ˜‰ For now, let me share my two new babies – the princess and the diva.
Both of them are from Parisian. I bought them at SM North EDSA yesterday. You can find Parisian in the Ladies’ Shoes section of SM Department Store. You can check their facebook fan page here.

The Princess

Price: P 1299

This pumps is 5 inches high. It has a glittery gold base which is covered with sexy lace. The heels looks like a shiny metal gold to me.

I am going to wear this on my wedding day πŸ˜€ I have been searching the web for all kinds of shoes. I can’tΒ  just find the one that will make me fall in love. I have heard of Abbylyn’s located at Cubao Expo but didn’t end up buying a customized pair of shoes there because I fell in love with this Parisian Pumps in lace. Even my boyfriend, Patrick fell in love with it!

I saved 3701 pesos on my wedding shoes πŸ˜€ I am not thrifty when it comes to shoes. I don’t know why. I just think that cheap shoes really look cheap. Unlike cheap clothes, you can accessorize and play with them to make them look stunning.

So here it is… make way for the princess:

The Diva

Price: P 1299

Since I saved a lot because I found a cheaper wedding shoes, I decided to buy this hot pink 7 inches pumps in suede. Yeee (kilig) I love this because it makes me look taller. Huh! I am almost 6 feet tall now. πŸ˜€

On other online shops, you will find this pair of shoes at 2,000 to 3,000 pesos. When I saw it, I fell in love with this shoes too! There’s just that crazy lub dub in my chest whenever I see glamorous shoes. I call this the Diva because I think it is more of a sexy sultry personality.

Oh my! Oh boy! I can’t wait to rock this shoes together with something floral or something neon!

How about you? Which of these two Parisian shoes is more gorgeous? Are you a Diva or are you a Princess? πŸ˜‰

So that’s it. I am proud to say that I am a Parisian Bride. You can also check SM Department store website for their latest shoes collection.

What is Love?

Do you know what love is? It’s the surprising moment that you forget that you can’t fly and once again, you believe in dreams and magical lands.

A lot of times, we forget the definition of love. It even sounds like a cliche. We hear it in the television. We hear it even in gay contests. For me, love is simply undefinable. There is no constant definition of love. It changes its meaning. It’s like the air, it takes the form of whatever object is containing it.

In my life, love has been thisΒ  – the surprising moment that you forget that you can’t fly and suddenly you believe in yourself again. You believe in magical lands, of princess, of prince, of ogres, of the impossible. Then, you meet the word “Trust” again. You let go of the things in the past and accept that your past doesn’t hold you in its palm.

Love is so powerful, it has made me believe in life again. It made me forget that I can’t fly. It made me forget that I am just a five feet tall oriental woman with two big moles on her cheek. It made me live with my dreams.

How about you? Have you found love in your life?

Emerald and Ivory

green eye shadow

My make up for today. I call it emerald and Ivory because I am wearing a white ring. I promise that next month, I will be going back to my Face of the Day again and will be doing step by step tutorial on how to make it and which products to use πŸ™‚ For the meantime, I hope you can leave some feedbacks and will make sure to recreate the look. If you have suggestions – do let me know. I’m just a comment away.

Candy Carnival

Hi Guys, will be updating this page soon so I can have a step by step tutorial on how I created this look. For the meantime, I’ll be sharing my pictures. This is a combination of blue hot pink, blue violet, and blue green eye shadow. I wet the brush so the look can become matte and don’t look that powdery. I am just using a very cheap eye shadow on this that’s why I have to work wonders with water :p I’m glad, I wasn’t tempted to use my water color juts to create more vibrant colors haha πŸ˜€

Tap your shoulder and congratulate yourself for having your face. You are unique. Be thankful for that mole, be thankful for that nose, be thankful for that eyes, be thankful for that lips. You may not be the most beautiful but that’s what makes you unique πŸ˜‰

Fishing Escapade ( I wish!) at Pantabangan

Don’t Jump! πŸ˜€

Days like this, I always wear flats :p Anyway, no one will see how chubby my legs are. I’m wearing my grandma’s Maxi Dress

What the heck am I thinking here? haha (drama mode)

I am in love with blue skies ❀

Let’s Sail Away – Come with me! πŸ˜€

We rented a van which costs 1200 pesos (back and forth – including gasoline fees). We stayed for about 30 minutes in this lake which comprises the dam site at Pantabangan. I also notice that water continuously flows in the road side. They say, it’s like a spring. You will notice motorists will stop by to wash their tricycles.

I want to go back again, and this time, will bring some food and fishing equipments and probably will go back during afternoon or during early morning. I almost got blinded by the sun light! It was 3:00 pm when we got there. Anyway, we just visited this place because of our friend, August. He died in a motorcycle accident.

Tangerine and Teal

Hi guys! This is my outfit when we visited Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija.

Here’s the price of the accessories and stuffs that I am wearing:

Maxi Skirt – I don’t know the price. Surprisingly, it’s from my Grandma! Yes it is :)) hehe. I made some adjustments over the waistline because it’s too loose on me. I like the color so even if it was too big for me, I made some DIY repairs. It’s made of a cotton fabric and it’s really comfortable. If you want to wear a Maxi skirt in a sunny day, make sure that it is made of cotton so you will not get irritated and wish that you should have wear shorts instead.

Tangerine Necklace – It’s from Legally Chinita. If you want to order one, do contact Ms. Jenna. It’s only 150 pesos. Cheap isn’t it? But it really looks elegant. Anyway, it’s how you will wear it. I decided to wear this necklace since I think it suits the color of my maxi skirt.

Tube – it’s thrifted! I bought it for 40 pesosΒ  (1$). It really has a good fit plus I have these fats on my armpit which makes me really cautious on wearing tube or sleeveless blouse. I always make sure that those chubby flabs on my armpit will not be visible.

Sling Bag -I bought this a long time ago. I love using this because it compliments most of my clothes. It’s also thrifted and I bought it for 250 pesos

Belt – got the belt from my old shorts. This belt is one of my favorite belts also. As I go along posting my outfits here at the fashion section of Thrifty Senyorita, you will notice that I always use it πŸ˜› I just find brown thingy as a staple stuff on every outfit I wear. I love the color brown and other earthly colors πŸ˜€

Total – 440 pesos (10.7 $). Thrifty isn’t it? πŸ™‚
